Mercedes F1 Mesmerise Fans As They Pull Doughnuts at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

Mercedes rolled up to the Festival of Speed in style; their ambassador, Esteban Gutierrez, put on a great show for the spectators while driving their 2019 world champion winning car, the W10.

And to make things even better, they repainted the 2019 challenger to match the 2021 livery.

Mercedes put on an eye-catching show at the Festival of Speed

Fans were excited to see what F1 teams would bring to this car enthusiastic show. And, fair enough, they weren’t disappointed, as teams like McLaren, Williams, and Mercedes put on a great show for the fans.

However, it was the Silver Arrows that stole the show, as Gutierrez lit up the show with some fantastic doughnuts. It did catch everyone’s attention as the W10 was burning rubber and creating not just smoke, but intense hype as well, as Esteban showed what the car is capable of doing.

The squad from Brackley took to Twitter to show off their skills at the event, they wrote, “Serving them fresh and hot.”

Why is the W10 car so special to the Silver Arrows?

The seven-time world champions took to the event to show off their accomplishments in the sport of Formula One. Not only did the W10 help them win the 2019 championship, but it also helped them equal their title count to archrivals Ferrari.

Furthermore, Lewis Hamilton has a fond memory of this car, as it helped bag his sixth world title, and at the final race in Abu Dhabi, Hamilton achieved the impossible, the “Grand Slam” in F1 – achieving pole position, leading every lap of the race, and winning the race with the quickest lap around the circuit.
