“RIP Conor McGregor’s Career” – Logan Paul Gives His Take on the Main Event of UFC 264

The ex-UFC double champ, Conor McGregor suffered a lopsided loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. A huge chunk of fans rooted for the Irishman, and he even began the fight on a sublime note. However, in the concluding minutes of round 1, McGregor lost control, and he broke his ankle. As a result, this highly anticipated event ended in the most disheartening fashion.

Post this fight, enormous fans and fighters reacted to McGregor’s devastating defeat. The celebrity boxing stalwart, Logan Paul, too shared his notions about ‘The Notorious’ performance.

Taking it to his Twitter handle, he wrote, “damn. crazy to see a star with such a meteoric rise literally plummet into the ground just a few years later. It’s sad tbh. RIP Conor McGregor’s career”

McGregor began the fight on a good note as he landed some astonishing power kicks to Poirier‘s legs. He executed his game plan to a fair extent for the first couple of minutes in the fight. But things turned around when ‘The Diamond’ took this fight to the ground.

The former UFC double champ was on the verge of choking Poirier out. However, the American fighter, who’s a ground game elite, didn’t let McGregor do the same. In fact, Poirier showed some cracking ground and pound, thus landing some ferocious elbows and right hands.
