Sarah-Jane Crawford is expecting her second child with her partner Brian Barry-Murphy.

The TV and radio presenter, 39, and football manager Brian, 42, already have a daughter, Summer, who was born in August 2020.

The former Xtra Factor host shared the news on Instagram on Sunday afternoon.

Referring to the mood of the nation ahead of England’s game against Italy in the Euro 2020 final that night, she wrote: ‘Since everyone is buzzing anyway LOL, thought it be a good time to drop this in. Something else that’s coming home!

‘Thank you so much to @hellomag for helping us to share our news for my birthday !! #babynumber2.’

The television personality spoke of her happy news to Hello! magazine, telling the publication she didn’t see herself having one child, let alone two.

Sarah-Jane, who suffered a miscarriage before she got pregnant with Summer and was advised she may need IVF to have children, said she was looking forward to having two little ones so close together in age.

She added that she was aware of her age and hoped to fall pregnant soon after giving birth to Summer, admitting she may not have another child later in life.

The star gave birth to her first daughter Summer in August last year, revealing her name two weeks after her baby’s birth.

She told Hello! at the time: ‘It felt like we bonded with her straight away.’

Summer’s name was chosen as it’s about having sunshine after going through darker times.

Born on August 3, she entered the world listening to Stevie Wonder’s Isn’t She Lovely.

‘I made a birth playlist of songs I’ve loved for years, which made me think about what it means to bring a life into the world,’ Sarah-Jane continued.
