Congratulations are in order for Glee’s Matthew Morrison and his wife Renee Puente – the couple have welcomed their second child together.

Actor Matthew, 42, and musician Renee, 36, are already parents to son Revel James Makai, three, and they say they are now ‘complete’ following the birth of daughter Phoenix in June.

They told People: ‘We Rise! Our family is now complete. Welcome, Phoenix Monroe!’

Phoenix weighed 7lbs., 1.5oz., and measured 21 inches long when she was born.

Matthew and Renee announced they were expecting in April this year when they revealed the happy news in an Instagram Stories video.

In the clip, the couple could be seen dancing along to the song F**king Around by Matthew’s former Glee co-star Darren Criss, 34.

Renne rolled up her top to reveal her then growing baby bump and Matthew added a GIF that said ‘baby loading’.

Matthew and Renee got engaged in 2013 before tying the knot at a private estate on the island of Maui, Hawaii in 2014.

After the birth of his son in 2017, Matthew wrote online: ‘To my Newborn Child, Revel James Makai Morrison: Your Mama and Papa got this!! We love you, and are so thankful for your arrival! The adventures are just beginning.

In March last year, Matthew opened up about his heartache after Renee suffered a miscarriage as they were trying for another baby.

He told People: ‘We’ve had a few miscarriages along the way trying to have a second baby, and it’s not fun stuff.

‘But it has really opened us up to having the conversation and talking about things that are taboo or a little difficult to express.

‘So I think it has really bonded us together a lot more.’
