Rafael Nadal has tasted success at the US Open in recent times

Nadal has won the US Open four times in his career. First in 2010, which was followed again in 2013 and most recently in 2017 and 2019. After his accolades in the French Open, Rafa has seen a fair amount of success in New York. Besides, fans really look forward to seeing him.

Reflecting on his season, Rafa began playing at the Australian Open but lost in the quarterfinal. After that, he returned to the clay courts of Monte Carlo. However, he didn’t go deep into the event. Later, he won titles in Barcelona and Rome.

One of the season’s biggest disappointments was the French Open loss to eventual champion Novak Djokovic. After his stint at Roland Garros, he decided to skip the Wimbledon Championships and later revealed that he wouldn’t be part of the Tokyo Olympics.

He intends to come back for the hard court season and has already begun getting himself prepared to take on the top players. It will be interesting to see how the Spaniard performs for the remainder of the season.
