When and Where to Watch the USWNT in USA for Tokyo Olympics 2021?
The United States Women’s National Soccer Team or USWNT is in Tokyo for the Tokyo Olympics 2021. They are the most successful Olympic soccer side in history and they are in the hunt for a fifth gold medal. Their schedule was announced a few weeks back and here is where you can watch top stars such as Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe when they play their first match on 21st July.

The USWNT Olympic matches will be broadcasted on NBC in the USA. The coverage will be available on several of NBC’s networks such as NBC Sports Network, USA, CNBC, the NBC Olympics channel, the Golf Channel, and Telemundo. Moreover, there is live streaming on Peacock, NBCOlympics.com, and NBC Sports.com. The USWNT can also be seen on Sling TV, Hulu Plus, FuboTV, AT&T TV, and YouTube TV.
What is the schedule for USWNT at Tokyo Olympics 2021?
The women’s soccer tournament at the Olympics comprises 12 nations. These teams are divided into three groups of four each. Each team will play the other members of the group once and the top two teams will advance into the quarterfinals. After the group stages are over, then the two best 3rd placed teams will also go through to the quarterfinals.

The USA has Sweden, Australia, and New Zealand in their group. Despite the Olympics officially beginning on 23rd July with the opening ceremony, soccer matches will begin on 21st. The first match itself is a huge clash with fifth-ranked Sweden. USWNT is on a 44 match unbeaten streak and on a six-match win streak. The last team that USWNT didn’t defeat was Sweden back in April 2021 when they drew 1-1.
USWNT will play 22nd ranked, New Zealand on 24th July. The last time these teams played was in 2019 where the Americans thrashed New Zealand, 5-0. The last group stage match is against 9th ranked, Australia on 27th July. USWNT are unbeaten against the Australians.
The knockout stages begin on 30th July with the quarterfinals. The semifinals then will take place on 2nd August. The blockbuster event will end on 5th August with both the bronze medal match and gold medal match.
