Despite Portugal failing to defend their Euro title, the five-time Ballon d’Or was crowned as the tournament’s top goalscorer.

Fernando Santos’ side may have exited at the last-16 stage, but Ronaldo managed to bang in five goals from his three group stage matches.

With just a year left on his contract in Italy, Ronaldo is facing an uncertain future at Juventus with Paris Saint-Germain keen to secure his services.

Though his Old Lady team-mate Danilo is confident he will remain at the Allianz Stadium beyond the summer.
