‘Dana White Should Fine Conor McGregor $1 million’- Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Manager Makes A Huge Claim

UFC lightweight behemoths Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier collided in their trilogy headliner of UFC 264. The highly anticipated match ended anticlimactically after McGregor’s left leg snapped just seconds before the end of the first round. Thus, Poirier got away with a TKO win via doctor stoppage.

Unlike their previous clash at UFC 257, this clash had an intense built. McGregor, who generally tries to get under his opponents’ skin, tried every bit possible to unsettle Poirier before the fight.

In this pursuit, he even threatened to kill Poirier and also had a few derogatory words sent towards the latter’s wife. Even after the conclusion of their fight, he still threatened Poirier and his wife while being treated on his leg.

His antics were met with a heavy backlash from various MMA sections and fans as well. Even his former rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, wasn’t amused at all with his antics.

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Abdelaziz lashed out at McGregor for foul language. He even requested UFC supremo to put a fine on the Irishman.

“At the end of the day, good always defeats the evil, and he is an evil human being,” Ali said. “You can say whatever you want, of course I don’t like the guy but if he do something good, I will give him credit. But you know, how he gonna try to kill Dustin Poirier’s wife?”

He continued, “If I was Dana White, I will fine this guy a million dollar. Dana should have guidelines. I know Dana said, we say mean things to each other.”

Abdelaziz termed the incident as very unfortunate as the footage of Conor trash-talking Poirier and his family will remain for a lifetime.

Has Conor McGregor fought his last match for UFC?

There is no doubt in the statement that McGregor is one of the best to compete in UFC. And to add more to it, he is the greatest when it comes to the popularity of fighters.

He has been an asset to UFC for almost a decade now. But unlike his initial years, his appearance and fighting prowess have somehow dwindled lately. He has appeared for only 4 matches since 2016 and has conceded 3 defeats out of it.

Even when he was not injured, he took so much time for his appearance and one could only imagine what this latest injury could mean for his future with UFC. But a fighter like Conor would want to end his stay in UFC on a high rather than fade away with a freakish injury. Only time will tell what he has in mind.

Do you agree with Abdelaziz’s statement on Conor?
