“I Saw Fear in His Eyes”- Jake Paul Says Tyron Woodley Accepted the Fight ‘Just’ for Pay-Check

In a fight between Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley, traditional fans or analysts would seemingly favor the latter to win. However, Paul’s confidence reflects him to have a superior position in his own mind, and he doesn’t seem to bother about Woodley’s fighting resume. Furthermore, Paul has claimed to see fear in the former UFC champion’s eyes.

While Woodley has competed against professional fighters all his life, his move to face a YouTuber turned prizefighter had shocked many. That said, Paul claimed to know why exactly Tyron Woodley accepted the fight against him.

Speaking in the press conference, Jake Paul said, “I saw fear in his eyes, I saw a man who accepted a fight mostly for a pay-check. I saw a man who doesn’t really have fight left in him, saw a man who has been defeated multiple times now.”

Well, that’s true to a certain extent. 39-year-old Tyron Woodley lost his charm in the UFC after losing his welterweight gold to Kamaru Usman. He suffered three losses back-to-back from that point, before quitting the promotion. So, his invincible aura has contracted a few dents. But that still leaves several chances to Tyron Woodley’s corner.
