Ed Sheeran has reportedly been forced into Covid self-isolation for the second time in just a few a weeks.
The 30-year-old singer recently left isolation after returning from his weeklong residency on The Late Late Show with James Corden in Los Angeles at the end of June.
However, according to The Sun, he is back isolating at his Suffolk home after coming into close contact with a Covid case.
It is unknown where the contact took place, but it is not believed to have occurred in Wembley’s Royal Box at England’s match against Germany, which was over two weeks ago.
Ed had watched the match with wife Cherry Seaborn next to David Beckham and his son Romeo, and near Prince William, Kate and George.
The star was last seen in public in West London four days ago.
However, Ed is believed to have tested negative for Covid ‘several times’ since isolating, according to a source.

The isolation comes amid a big promo push for Ed’s comeback single Bad Habits, which is currently number one in the UK charts.
A source told The Sun: ‘It’s a bit of a nightmare for Ed, but what can you do?
‘He’s obviously followed the rules and headed straight home when he was told to.
‘Unfortunately, this has come while he’s in the middle of a major comeback after a hiatus but he’ll have to work around it for the ten days.’
Ed’s isolation comes as 281,500 people were told to self-isolate by Test and Trace in the last week of June — up 50% on the previous week’s 183,607.
The Adam Smith Institute think-tank claims that 4.6million could end up self-isolating every week this summer when lockdown ends.

While Ed may be stuck at home in his vast £3.7 million estate dubbed Sheeranville which is surrounded by its own pub, a gym, pool, billiards room and treehouse – actually, this sounds great, can we come? – he has plenty to do.
As well as parenting his infant daughter Lyra Antarctica, Ed has been doing plenty of promo for not only his new single, but the ones he has written for other artists.
The British star penned Permission to Dance for K-pop superstars BTS, which is out now, as well as Anne-Marie’s new track Beautiful.
And that’s before we get to Ed’s upcoming fourth solo album, believed to be called Subtract, in keeping with 2011’s +, 2014’s x and 2017’s ÷.
Ed’s last album, No 6 Collaborations Project came in 2019, featuring collabs with Justin Bieber, Khalid, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Stormzy and Chance The Rapper, among others.
Metro.co.uk has contacted Sheeran’s rep for comment.
