Warning: major spoilers ahead for Loki episode 6.
Marvel fans have been left reeling by the episode 6 finale of Loki, which saw Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) finally learn who’s been running the TVA (Time Variance Authority) behind the scenes.
The final episode of the series also confirmed that Loki will definitely be back for season 2, with a post-credits scene making the unexpected announcement.
Now that we know for sure that Loki is coming back for more time-bending adventures, we can ask ourselves what this means for the God of Mischief… in addition to how Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) will fit into the mix.
From Sylvie’s fate to the cruel Mobius M Mobius (Owen Wilson) twist, these are the questions we need answered.
Has an evil Kang the Conqueror variant arrived?
In the Loki finale, Kang informs Loki and Sylvie that he is the one who created and runs the TVA.
Before Kang is killed by Sylvie, he tells her and Loki that if he dies, an infinite number of variants of himself will take his place, some of whom may be far more evil.
When Sylvie banishes Loki back to the TVA, he realises that the statue that previously portrayed the fake Time-Keepers is now an effigy of Kang.
This most likely means that Kang’s prediction has turned out to be true and the TVA is now being by an evil variant version of himself.
This may also be the version of Kang that Marvel viewers will meet in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Stay tuned.
What’s happened to Sylvie?
While Sylvie completes her mission to kill Kang, the leader of the TVA, her fate remains uncertain at the end of Loki.
Even though she successfully assassinated the person who has been wreaking havoc on her life since childhood, another version of Kang is now seemingly back in power.
So after Sylvie drives her dagger into Kang’s heart – what happens next? Is Sylvie on the run again and will she be reunited with Loki?

Where has Ravonna Renslayer gone?
TVA judge Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) has remained somewhat of a mystery throughout Loki, with the finale providing viewers with a glimpse of her backstory.
In episode six, it’s discovered that Ravonna had a previous life on Earth as a teacher in Ohio in the 21st century.

However, the TVA version of Ravonna is committed to maintaining the TVA’s sacred timeline, even after the discovery is made that the Time-Keepers are fake.
After being reunited with Mobius at the TVA headquarters, Ravonna decides to embark on a journey of her own in search of ‘free will’.
Considering Ravonna’s close connection with Kang in the Marvel comics, are the pair set to join forces?
How will the multiverse of madness impact the MCU?
During Loki and Sylvie’s conversation with Kang, the timeline starts to branch off, as he admits that he doesn’t know what’s going to happen next in their interaction.
After Sylvie kills him, chaos ensues, with the timeline branching in multiple directions, teasing a multiverse of madness.
It’s rumoured that Loki may appear in the upcoming MCU film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is also set to feature WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch.

There has also been heavy speculation that the new Spider-Man film, No Way Home, will also feature a multiverse, with Spider-Man actors Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire possibly sharing the screen together.
For all we know, the multiverse and timeline breaches caused in Loki could be the root of it all.
The first season of Loki is available to watch on Disney Plus.
