WWE PPV schedule 2021: Dates and venues for Money In The Bank, SummerSlam and more
It’s all kicking off this weekend (Photo: WWE)
WWE is getting a huge boost later this week as capacity crowds return for the first time in well over a year- and we’ve got the pay-per-view calendar to get you excited.
Elimination Chamber in February 2020 was the last pay-per-view to host a live audience – besides two limited capacity nights of WrestleMania in April this year – but that’s all about to change.
On Friday (July 16), fans will be back in a big way as SmackDown waves goodbye to the ThunderDome and arrives in Houston for what will be an emotional night for everyone involved.
Just two days later, WWE takes a PPV event out of Florida and things will finally feel like they’re getting back to normal in the world of wrestling.
There’s now three major events officially in the calendar, with plenty more announced without a firm date.
With that said, here’s the current pay-per-view schedule…
WWE pay-per-view schedule 2021

When is WWE Money In The Bank 2021?
We’re just days away – Money In The Bank is coming on Sunday night (July 18) at 1am for fans in the UK, and it’s airing from Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
It’s a stacked card, with Ricochet, Riddle, Drew McIntyre and Big E among those competing for the men’s briefcase, while Liv Morgan joins the likes of Zelina Vega and Nikki A.S.H. in the women’s bout.
Elsewhere, Edge will challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Title and Kofi Kingston gets a shot at Bobby Lashley’s WWE Championship, while the Raw Women’s Title is on the line with Rhea Ripley facing Charlotte Flair.
The Raw-heavy card (as it stands, there’s time for this to change on SmackDown) gets rounded off with a tag team championship bout between The Viking Raiders and titleholders AJ Styles and Omos

Last year’s event saw the two matches combined as the men and women battled up WWE’s Titan Tower headquarters to a ring on the roof, each trying to capture the respective briefcase and earn a championship opportunity.
Otis won the men’s one, but would eventually lose it to The Miz – who successfully cashed in on Drew McIntyre in February this year, only to drop the title to Bobby Lashley a few days later).
Asuka captured the women’s briefcase, and the very next night on Raw Becky Lynch gave up the gold after revealing she was pregnant – before announcing the Empress of Tomorrow had actually won the title, rather than a contract for a championship match.
When is WWE SummerSlam 2021?
WWE is breaking away from its traditional Sunday night PPV slot next month as SummerSlam comes from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 21.
While there’s nothing confirmed for the show yet – we can expect more after MITB this weekend – all reports suggested the company is ready to go all-out to make the Biggest Party of the Summer a WrestleMania-level event.
There’s been plenty of speculation that John Cena will be back for a headline match that weekend, while the likes of Becky Lynch could also be poised for a comeback.
When is WWE Extreme Rules 2021?
A bit of a reshuffle earlier this year saw Hell In A Cell moved to June rather than its usual October date, and Money In The Bank took July.
This means Extreme Rules is now coming on September 26 this year, with the show all set for the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

It’s one of the most brutal nights of the WWE calendar, and they’re sure to go all-out with a live crowds giving the stars another rush of adrenaline.
When is the next NXT TakeOver?
All signs are pointing to an NXT TakeOver event as part of the SummerSlam festivities in Las Vegas, but nothing has been confirmed for the black and gold brand in Sin City.
It’s something to keep an eye on, and Triple H previously admitted it’s something bosses are looking at themselves after reports suggested they could hold an event the night after SummerSlam itself.

‘So it’s a work in progress as far as where that show lands, as far as SummerSlam weekend TakeOver,’ he said in a recent media call. ‘We’re in a unique time coming out of the pandemic, getting back on the road, doing live events.
‘SummerSlam going to Vegas in the stadium, hopefully, we’ll have a full house [and] it should be awesome. But it’s a unique time and a lot of it is, as everybody is, trying to feel things out. There’s a little bit of an ebb and flow where things exactly will land.’
WWE UK tour dates 2021
Although there’s no big WWE PPV coming to the UK just yet – that could change if Tyson Fury and Drew McIntyre have their way – the stars of SmackDown are poised for a tour later this year.
In September, the likes of Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, Big E, Sasha Banks and The Usos will be coming to our shores for a four-date run which marks the company’s first UK run since November 2019.
