Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton Join LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in Unique NBA Finals Feat After Game 4 Win

The Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks served one of the most intriguing games of the series to fans. From one of the most controversial no-calls to the Bucks still coming out 109-103 victorious, this matchup had it all. By surviving another night, the Bucks have tied the series 2-2, and given its fans hopes that history is in the making. Thanks to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, the Bucks might be heading towards their first NBA championship since 1971.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton to the rescue

This game had us all on the edge of our seats, with both teams throwing equal punches at each other. The Phoenix Suns might have started with a decent lead in the first quarter, but the Bucks didn’t let it go that far the rest of the game. They continued to rally back and close in on the Suns.

Both teams ended on 52-52 in the first half but the Suns kept their lead intact almost throughout the third and fourth quarter. Then came a silly turnover from Chris Paul that changed the course of the game and had the DBucks get their first lead. After that, there was no looking back.

Giannis Antetokounmpo played selflessly, doing all the playmaking, grabbing 14 rebounds, and of course, his spectacular block without focusing on being the lone hero and getting more buckets. Instead, Khris Middleton came out as the lead scorer for the Bucks. He added a whopping 40 points to their final score.

Giannis and Khris have proved what both of them can do on their best nights. As per ESPN State & Info, “Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton are the 3rd pair of teammates (4th instance) over the last 50 years to each have a 40-point game in a single NBA Finals. The others are LeBron James/Kyrie Irving and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar/Magic Johnson.”

Can Milwaukee Bucks close the series in Game 6?

The crowd might have been cheering Bucks in 6 during the final minutes of the game, but is that really realistic? This game was also very close. It doesn’t seem like Phoenix will let Milwaukee walk away with the title so easily.

Devin Booker, who also had a 42 point performance, could have had more support on the scoring end. If that would have happened, the result might have been very different. The Bucks might have not gotten a chance to catch up at all.

However, the series just got even more interesting. Only time will tell if Giannis and Co. can end the series in 6 games or not.
