Prince William and his brother Harry feel the wrath of the Queen in the official trailer for the surreal dramatisation, Harry & Meghan: Escaping The Palace.
The controversial Lifetime movie will finally land on September 6 and has been widely panned as ‘embarrassing’ and ‘painful to watch’ already by critics from the trailer alone.
Following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s departure from Royal duties, the latest trailer shows a pregnant Meghan collapsing on the floor, comforted by her concerned husband.
‘If I’m left alone I don’t know what I might do, she cries, appearing to refer to Meghan’s comments to Oprah Winfrey duing the bombshell interview that her suicidal feelings were ignored by Buckingham Palace.
Another strange turn sees Queen Elizabeth scold William and Harry for their ongoing feud, accusing the sparring brothers of ‘fuelling uncertainty’.
‘They’re making out that we’re not part of this family,’ Harry tells Meghan, as the next shot turns to Harry glancing at William.

The TV move stars Jordan Dean and Sydney Morton and Harry and Meghan respectively, and will also feature Laura Mitchell as Kate Middleton, Jordan Whalen as Prince William and, quite spectacularly, Maggie Sullivun as the Queen.
The synopsis for the movie teases: ‘Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace reveals what really happened inside the palace that drove Harry and Meghan to leave everything behind in order to make a future for themselves and their son Archie.
More: Prince Harry
‘The movie will detail Meghan’s growing isolation and sadness, their disappointment that “The Firm” was not defending them against the press’s attacks and Harry’s fear that history would repeat itself and he would not be able to protect his wife and son from the same forces that caused his mother’s untimely death.’
It continues: ‘Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace will also reveal the private family feuds between Will and Harry, Kate and Meghan, and Harry with Will and Charles, that lead to the ultimate break from the royal ties.’
Harry & Meghan: Escaping The Palace has yet to receive a release date.
