Julia Roberts’ daughter Hazel put in a rare public at Cannes Film Festival on Saturday as she walked the red carpet in support of her dad, cinematographer Daniel Moder.
The 16-year-old is the joint oldest child of the Hollywood actress and her husband, who married in 2002, alongside her twin brother Phinnaeus.
The pair also has a younger sibling, 14-year-old Henry.
Daniel, 52, was the cinematographer for Sean Penn’s drama about notorious counterfeiter John Vogel, Flag Day, which premiered at Cannes ahead of its August 20 US release date.
The Moder clan keep a low profile other than occasional family snaps shared by Julia or Daniel on Instagram, but Hazel clearly made an exception for her dad’s new film (and the chance to attend one of the chicest film festivals, we assume).
For the occasion, she chose a long, flowing, yellow shirt-dress, with lace detailing.

The teenager accessorised her outfit with simple gold chains and chunky black heels with an ankle strap.
She had her blonde hair tied back in a ponytail, and a big smile on her face – reminiscent of her famous mum – as she walked the red carpet and posed with her arm around her father.
Daniel kept things simple but classic in a sharp black suit and tie with a crisp white shirt, as the Emmy nominee celebrated the opening of his latest film.

Pretty Woman megastar Julia, 53, met Daniel on the set of her 2000 flick The Mexican, in which she starred alongside Brad Pitt, when he was working as a cameraman.
Both were married previously: Julia to country singer Lyle Lovett for 21 months from 1993 and Daniel to cinema make-up artist Vera Steimberg from 1997 to 2002.
The pair marked their 19th wedding anniversary on July 4 this year, and both took to Instagram to mark the occasion, with Julia breaking from her usual activism content to post a picture of the pair together, as she did for their previous anniversary.
Alongside the snap of them on a beach, she commented: ‘19 years ❤️🤍💙 Just getting started! #conwings😉’
Daniel shared a low-key throwback picture of them from before they got married, describing it as ‘on a dusty road before that big idea’.
He continued: ‘Just holding on to this beautiful girl one day at a time. One epic day at a time.’
More: Cannes Film Festival
Cannes has been the first major film festival to go ahead in person since the pandemic began, but with strict protocols in place.
Although stars including Dame Helen Mirren and model Bella Hadid have put in appearances, others have had to stay away, including Bond girl Léa Seydoux, who tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of her scheduled appearance at the festival, where four of her films are showing.
