What is the R logo everyone is wearing on Love Island?

The mysterious ‘R’ logo many have been curious about (Picture: ITV2)

Fans of ITV’s Love Island may have spotted a few of the boys wearing the exact same symbol.

2021 stars Hugo, Brad, Jake, Aaron and Toby have all worn hats emblazoned with a curvy capital letter: R.

So, what does this mysterious letter stand for? And has it got anything to do with a Love island sponsor?

Here’s what you need to know.

What does the R logo stand for?

The curvy ‘R’ you’ve seen is actually the logo for popular clothing brand, called Rewired.

Reports say they’re the ‘official headwear sponsor’ for the 2021 series – but they have appeared on past seasons, too.

Fan favourite Ovie Soko has previously worn the laidback, sporty brand, which consists of two-tone trucker hats, plain tees, hoodies and casual workout shorts.

Shaughna Phillips and Paige Turley have also been snapped in the villa sporting Rewired caps.

It seems Rewired are thrilled to support the show, having devoted the top half of their website homepage to it.

As well as featuring a dedicated section showcasing what the Love Island lads past and present have worn.

They even sell a £10 Love Island-branded face mask – if you need more merch to go with your personalised water bottle.

Love Island do have other products, too, including tote bags. You can see the official Love Island shop here.
