“You Deserve This Chain More Than Me!”: Jake Paul Finally Sends ‘Sleepy McGregor’ Chain to Dustin Poirier

Last weekend, the UFC 264 main event between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier ended in a disheartening fashion. In this fight, the Irishman broke his leg and eventually lost the bout via a first-round T/KO. Also, with this vicious loss, McGregor put himself on the receiving end of criticism coming from fans, fighters, and rivals.

McGregor, who tried keeping Poirier on his toes, failed to do so. However, he still showed a snippet of his old self by landing a few significant strikes. But in the end, it was ‘The Diamond’ who edged over the Irish MMA stalwart.

With his performance that night, Poirier impressed one and all including Jake Paul, who decided to send him a gift. ‘The Problem Child’ got himself a $100k ‘Sleepy McGregor‘ chain, which he gifted to Poirier.

Taking it to his Twitter, Paul shared a picture of the chain alongside a note for ‘The Diamond’. He wrote, ”

Dear Dustin,

Congrats for your much earned victory. I love what you are doing with your Good fight Foundation! You deserve this chain more than me! Good Always Deats Evil! Keep winning!

– Love Jake

P.S Tell Jolie I said Hi – She’s a Bada**!”

The YouTuber turned boxer never leaves an opportunity to mock the ex-UFC double champ. That said, over the past few months, he’s tried everything in his hand to get onto McGregor’s nerves.

Despite failing, he hasn’t stopped in his efforts to get McGregor’s attention.

Will Jake Paul ever get to fight Conor McGregor?

Conor McGregor seemed devastated after his loss to Poirier. And it looked as if he’d be keen to get that revenge over anything else for now.

Also, in order to signify his spot as the champ, ‘The Notorious’ is hungry to get the lightweight strap once again. Considering that, Jake Paul seems an unlikely opponent for McGregor.

Nevertheless, Jake Paul will keep on trying until he secures a boxing bout against The Irishman. What do you draw off the above story?
