Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton Join LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in Incredible Playoffs Record

The Deers have raided the Valley, winning 123-119 in a down to the wire battle. After being down 16 in the first quarter, the Bucks outscored Phoenix Suns by 19 in the second quarter. They continued their dominance throughout the game as Giannis Antetokounmpo & co went up 3-2 in the series. We will now head back to Milwaukee for Game 6.

Giannis Antetokounmpo did an amazing job of involving the team, while also scoring. Moreover, it was Jrue Holiday who came up big time for Milwaukee. He added 27 points, 13 assists and 3 steals to the mix. In addition, Middleton came up clutch as he scored 29 points.

Devin Booker took over yet again as he scored 40 points, including 14 points in the 3rd quarter. DeAndre Ayton had an efficient game, scoring 20 points while shooting 58% from the field. Chris Paul scored big-time baskets in the 4th as he ended with 21 points and 11 assists.

The duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton has been delivering in the last 2 games. Likewise, they have cemented themselves in the history books as a duo.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Middleton on fire

Giannis and Middleton become the first set of teammates since 2012 to each score 500 points and dish out 100 assists in a single postseason. In addition, there are still 2 games left in the Finals!

The last pair to do it was LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in 2012. Likewise, they capped off their season with a championship. They beat Kevin Durant’s OKC in 5 games to win their first championship. Moreover, this was the first of their back-to-back championships.

While Giannis Antetokounmpo may be leading the Bucks in these playoffs, Middleton is not far behind. He has stepped up in the big moments.

His contributions in the Hawks series are probably the reason the Bucks see themselves in these finals. In addition, a heroic 40 point performance in Game 4 allowed the Bucks to edge out of a close game to even the series. He is averaging 24 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1 steal in these playoffs.

Coming to Giannis, no praise is enough for the way he has led the Bucks. Coming off a hyper-extended left knee did not stop him from dominating in the Finals. Back-to-back 40 point games in Games 2 & 3 and a clutch block in Game 4 are some of his best moments.

In addition, he has taken the role of being the floor general on this team. These 2 have been the stars of the team as expected and excelled in their roles.

They know each other really well, and that has transcended into success on the court. They now see themselves one game away from being called champions.

Milwaukee escapes Booker’s fire

A huge steal by Jrue Holiday on Devin Booker saved Milwaukee the game. Bucks edged out 123-119 in a dramatic clash. They now see themselves 1 game away from being crowned as NBA champions for the first time in 50 years.

Yet another 40 point night from Booker was not enough as they came up short. Despite all Phoenix starters being in double figures, a clutch steal by Holiday took it all away.

Chris Paul came up big time in the 4th quarter, scoring clutch baskets. Ayton finished with a 20 point double-double in their loss.

Giannis Antetokounmpo missed huge free throws down the stretch again. However, he sealed the deal for Milwaukee with an emphatic alley oop from Holiday. The Bucks will now head back home and hope to win their first ever title since 1971.
