Halo: Infinite – Battle Pass Cost and Getting Rid of Hackers

Halo: Infinite, 343’s ambitious game, is set to come out later this year. The game will bring a plethora of new content, and like other famous titles like Warzone and Apex Legends, it will also come with a Battle Pass. Its cost is still unknown, but it’ll be in the same ballpark as other similar titles. Research done by a YouTuber suggests it’ll be around $40 a year.

There’s also the question on people’s minds of how Microsoft will deal with hackers. This is a very reasonable question, given the rampant hacker activity that Warzone is currently seeing. The devs have no official answers to that question yet. Whether Microsoft’s solution to hackers is permanent or temporary remains to be seen.

Halo: Infinite: more about the Battle Pass

The first and foremost thing that must be talked about is the Battle Pass will never expire. The devs motive behind doing this is that they don’t want the Battle Pass to feel like a job. In an official post, Chris Blohm said, “We do not want to demand that players play a ton of hours every week of the season to complete everything. We want players having fun in Halo, not grind it like it’s a job.

The Battle Pass will feature new items that will have a superficial effect. In other words, nothing that can help players win games will come with the Battle Pass. And the Battle Pass will come in two options: paid and free.

Gamers have expressed their delight about the devs’ philosophy concerning the Battle Pass, and the move has been regarded as player-friendly.

The hacker problem

Hackers have established themselves as people who want to ruin your gaming experience, and they have found great success on that front. To prevent the problem, there will surely be measures put into place. But in case the measures fall short, what will Microsoft or 343 do then?

They can take permanent action against the player by blocking the IP or they can ban them temporarily. How the devs will keep hackers out, only time will tell.
