Jake Paul is slowly and steadily spreading his roots in the boxing universe. Despite being a complete novice, he still is one of the household names of boxing. With time, he’s looking to challenge himself by facing the best names from boxing and MMA. That said, next month, he will enter a massive showdown with the former UFC welterweight champ, Tyron Woodley.

Post that fight, he will only look to battling even better contenders, thus strengthening his boxing resume. Also, this is one of the predominant reasons why he turned down a fight with rapper and songwriter Tekashi 6ix9ine.

Speaking to Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, he said, “Jake Paul vs 6ix9ine would be a huge fight, huge PPV but like, let’s be real, it’s going down in level”

‘The Problem Child’ has rolled out colossal statements in the fight world over the past few months. His prime breakthrough came in when he outclassed the ex-NBA star, Nate Robinson, in November 2020.

Post that win, he called out some of the most prominent MMA personalities, including the biggest UFC superstar, Conor McGregor. With that, he became an overnight star of the game.

On August 29th, he will test himself in deep waters against ‘The Chosen One’, a former UFC champion. Woodley was a devastating striker. His power without having to undergo a weight cut will certainly trouble Paul next month.
