Jake Paul Says an Early Knockout Against ‘Explosive’ Tyron Woodley Is Possible

Jake Paul doesn’t seem intimidated by the fact that Tyron Woodley is an A-listed opponent who has knocked out several professional fighters in his combat career. Instead, the YouTuber turned prizefighter has vowed to vanquish the former UFC champion, that too via stoppage in the early rounds. Well, it’s not new to the fans as Paul has been making such claims for a long time.

However, he has also acknowledged Woodley’s abilities in a recent media interaction. Despite boasting all his prowess, ‘The Problem Child’ didn’t rule out the dangers which ‘T-Wood’ might bring. However, it didn’t affect his confidence.

Speaking with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, Jake Paul said, “I actually wanna challenge myself and I think Tyron [Woodley] is a real challenge. I have to take this more serious than any other fight and he is a real threat.”

“Tyron Woodley is a real threat with knockout power. He has knocked out some of the best fighters in the world, 5-time champion, explosive, you know has like 8 Pack. He is a real guy. But that’s why I wanna do. That’s why I fall somewhere in the middle actually challenging myself. But me knowing deep down, like with all that said, I just have to be super alert and cautious in the ring and think I can take him out in two rounds.”

Despite flexing a 3-0 unbeaten record, Paul knows the former UFC veteran will be the toughest fight of his career.

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley- The glittery mismatch

On analyzing both men’s combat careers, Tyron Woodley clearly takes a lead over Jake Paul. Starting from his MMA accolades to a stellar pro-fighting resume, Woodley has all the reasons to tout himself superior. However, as he has never competed in a professional boxing bout, it might be a matter of concern for him.

Jake Paul has shown great developments with each of his fights. After taking out a fellow YouTuber on his debut, Paul finished Nate Robinson in his second fight. He further upgraded himself by knocking out former MMA champion Ben Askren next. He will look to continue on this trend against ‘The Chosen One’.
