Jamie Lynn Spears is hoping the Lord will bring about peace after her sister Britney Spears publicly criticised her for the first time during her ongoing conservatorship battle.

The Toxic hitmaker hit out at her sibling directly, as well as those questioning the videos she regularly shares of her dancing at home while refusing to return to the stage so long as her dad remains in charge of the court order.

But Britney’s sister Jamie Lynn appeared to shake off the drama in her latest social media post, in which she showed off her mini red skirt and shirt co-ord and matching red patent heels.

‘May the peace of the Lord be with you, and your spirit,’ Jamie captioned the pic, alongside a peace sign emoji and a red love heart.

The 30-year-old actress and singer has currently disabled all comments on her Instagram posts.

It comes after Britney called out her younger sibling.

‘For those of you who choose to criticize my dancing videos … look I’m not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think 🚫🙅🏼‍♀️ 🚫!!!!’ she began the post.

Britney, 39, then mentioned her younger sister directly and continued: ‘And no I’m not gonna put on heavy makeup and try try try on stage again and not be able to do the real deal with remixes of my songs for years and begging to put my new music in my show for MY fans … so I quit !!!!

‘I don’t like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes !!!!! My so-called support system hurt me deeply !!!!’

Britney is in the process of a legal battle to terminate her conservatorship permanently after 13 years of having her wellbeing and financial affairs managed by her father, Jamie Spears, and a bank.

Earlier this week, Jamie Lynn and mother Lynne shared messages in support of Britney on social media.

Jamie Lynn, 30, best known for starring in Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, had posted on her Instagram stories: ‘Dear Lord, Can we end this bull sh*t once and for all. Amen.’
