WWE Money In The Bank 2021 preview: UK start time, matches, live stream and more

It’s always a special night (Photo: WWE)

For the first time in over a year, WWE will welcome a capacity crowd back for a pay-per-view as Money In The Bank hails from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

Due to the pandemic, last year’s show took a very different turn as the company combined both flagship men’s and women’s ladder matches into one over the top cinematic style bout seeing the stars fight to the top of WWE HQ.

Things are back to normal this year, with two matches each pitting eight of the best in a battle for the career-changing briefcases which can launch someone into superstardom.

The card as a whole looks stacked with four title bouts – including two first-time clashes – so there’s plenty for fans to get hyped about.

Friday night’s episode of SmackDown showed just how much of a difference the fans in attendance make, and it’s expected WWE will pull out all the stops during its biggest few days in a long time.

As ever, we’ve put together our regular guide with the full match card, streaming details and more.

Here’s everything you need to know about the show…

When is WWE Money In The Bank 2021?

WWE presents Money In The Bank tonight (July 18j) with all the action on the main card kicking off at 1am for fans in the UK.

How can you watch WWE Money In The Bank 2021?

The ThunderDome is a thing of the past, with full capacity crowds returning so the only way to get involved if you’re not lucky enough to be in attendance is watching on a screen.

Of course, there will be a Kickoff show available on the WWE Network, WWE.com, the WWE app, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch at midnight.

For fans in the UK, you can tune into the main Money In The Bank show by either streaming live or watching on demand via the WWE Network – or order the event via BT Sport Box Office.

What can you expect from WWE Money In The Bank? Surprises, returns and high stakes

Although the show hinges on the two Money In The Bank ladder matches, the rest of the card is offering plenty of excitement on paper as WWE puts its best foot forward for the return of fans.

The company has typically hit the mark consistently on pay-per-view since introducing the ThunderDome for SummerSlam last year, and tonight should be no different.

The men’s MITB match is wide open, with several potential winners in the field, and both Big E and Seth Rollins standing out as slight favourites – while there’s always a chance Randy Orton will return to cost Riddle after being absent for a few weeks.

The women’s field is similarly unpredictable, but the most obvious (and best) route would be Liv Morgan, unless there’s going to be a swerve with Sonya Deville or even Becky Lynch interjecting themselves into the match.

As for the rest of the show, Bobby Lashley should retain over Kofi Kingston (as great as another title run would be for the New Day man), and Roman Reigns will keep rolling over Edge with both bouts sure to deliver.

Rhea Ripley deserves a run in front of fans, and although Charlotte Flair can’t be ruled out, you’d hope the Nightmare can get a big win here, even if the sensible AJ Styles and Omos win would mean a clean sweep of champions retaining on the main card.

The Usos can buck the trend on the Kickoff though, bringing an end to Rey and Dominik Mysterio’s fairy tale title run by ensuring The Bloodline holds the gold.
