Sex Education season 3 has dropped its first-ever advert for Moordale Secondary in a desperate bid to encourage enrollment at the school before it reopens its doors.

Following the release date announcement last month, Netflix has unveiled a two-minute teaser that introduces new headmistresses Hope Hadden (played by Jemima Kirke) into the throws.

‘I’m the new headmistress at Moordale, taking over from Mr Groff to get the school back on track,’ Hope announces.

‘And together, we’ll build a brighter future at Moordale,’ Kedar Williams-Stirling’s Jackson adds.

Elsewhere in the video, the fellow students try their best to sound convincing as they advertise the school.

‘With a new uniform, new student body, and a new attitude, Moordale is the perfect place to grow into the fine adults we are destined to be,’ Chinenye Ezeudu’s Viv adds.

The upcoming new series of Sex Education marks the beginning of a new year, with Otis having casual sex, Eric and Adam are becoming official, and Jean having a baby on the way.

Meanwhile, new headteacher Hope tries to return Moordale to a pillar of excellence, Aimee discovers feminism, Jackson gets a crush and a lost voicemail still looms.

‘Prepare for commitment animals, alien phenomena, vulva cupcakes and much more of Madam Groff,’ the synopsis warns.

Jemima has previously teased what lies in store for her character Hope, hinting that viewers will discover her ‘wild’ backstory.

Ncuti Gatwa, who portrays Eric, has also hinted at ‘really powerful’ and ‘profound’ Eric scenes are on the way.

‘Eric returns back to his culture a lot more,’ he said.

‘I think those scenes were very special. Just kind of having a set where the majority of people were Black was really great and really powerful and represented Eric’s culture and his family. Those are always very quite profound moments.’

Sex Education season 3 launches on September 17 on Netflix.
