Coleen and Wayne Rooney’s sons Kai and Klay have refused to leave the magic of the Euros 2020 behind as they rocked Phil Foden’s iconic ‘do.

Although they live with one football hero, the two boys decided they’d take fashion inspiration from another, as they were pictured with bleach blonde hair.

Coleen’s father Tony McLoughlin also wanted to get in on the action but clearly wasn’t ready to take the plunge, as he opted for a head of white paint.

You can’t fault the dedication.

The mum-of-four shared sweet snaps of Kai, 11, and Klay, nine, as they posed in football kits.

In one snap, Tony grinned away next to Klay and we’ve never seen someone so happy to be covered in paint.

‘Gave in to the Phil Foden hair!!’ Coleen said. ‘All tournament they have asked for it, So once the school holidays started I said why not!!’

Footballer Phil, 21, became known for his iconic blonde locks during England’s clashes at the Euros, after he paid homage to Paul ‘Gazza’ Gascoigne with the look.

‘I’ve had the same haircut for ages now so I thought I would try something new and woke up this morning with a lot of comparisons to Gazza and Eminem,’ the footballer said. ‘It was my own thing and people have turned it into something else.

‘I remember watching highlights on the TV of Gazza – unbelievable player. The nation knows what he means for the country and what he did. I wouldn’t be too bad if I try to bring a bit of Gazza on the pitch.’

It definitely didn’t work out too badly for him.

Coleen, Wayne, 35, and their sons enjoyed England’s sensational Euros run along with the rest of the nation, with the family celebrating the team’s win against Denmark from Wembley.

Joining all the famous faces in the stands, the Rooneys brought their eldest sons, Kai, Klay and Kit, five, while leaving three-year-old Cass at home for the evening.

After witnessing Harry Kane score the winning goal during the extra time, Coleen filmed footage of the raucous celebrations as England fans jumped and cheered in the stands. The couple gathered their brood for a sweet family photo, which showed their boys – clad in England shirts – grinning excitedly from ear to ear.

‘What a night!!…. Fantastic England, it’s almost Home 🏆,’ Coleen captioned the image.

It may not have come home, but at least Kit and Klay are carrying on the celebrations.
