New iPhone SE 3 ‘will be Apple’s first CHEAP 5G smartphone’, new leak reveals

RUMOURS are rife about a third-generation iPhone SE that could be released in early 2022.

Several reports have been hinting at a new version of the popular Touch ID iPhone that first came out in 2017.

The second-generation of the iPhone SE came out in 2020.

According to Digitimes, industry sources have said a third-generation iPhone SE series will be rolling out in the first half of 2022.

This could please many fans who miss Touch ID, which newer iPhone models don’t provide.

According to the rumours, the new iPhone SE will come with the same A14 processor chip as the iPhone 12 series.

Its design isn’t expected to change as the 4.7-inch LCD display and Touch ID button have proved popular in the past.

It’s also rumoured to have 5G support at a cheaper price.

Reports suggest the third-generation iPhone SE would be cheaper than the iPhone 12 mini.

That iPhone costs £599 in the UK an $699 in the US.

If the rumours are true, we could see the new iPhone SE launched in Spring as Apple often holds events around this time.

As with all rumours, we won’t know for sure if we’ll see the official launch of a third-generation iPhone SE until official word from Apple.

In other news, WhatsApp is working on a new feature to fix a huge security loophole in its encryption system.

Facebook allegedly fired over 50 employees who took advantage of their data access to spy on users and even read private messages.

And, if you have an iPhone that’s older than the iPhone X you’ll miss out on some of the new iOS 15 features.
