Covid restrictions meant the year 11 ceremony had to be delayed until this week.

But the pupils from Cleeve School in Cheltenham made up for it with an emotional farewell bash.

Assistant head Kate Pope said: “This event is so important to our year 11 students, who have missed out on so much this year.

“As a year group they have been nothing short of incredible.

“To be able to get together and say a proper farewell with their teacher and other students is really special.”
