Andy Murray at the Olympics

Undoubtedly, Murray has enjoyed more success than the ‘Big Three’ when it comes to playing at the Olympics. He won the Gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics by defeating Roger Federer in the finals and then, successfully defended it in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 by thrashing Juan Martin del Potro in the finals.

In addition, he won the Silver medal in the mixed doubles category at the London Olympics 2012 along with his partner, Laura Robson. Intriguingly, Murray is the only player in history, male or female, to win two consecutive Gold medals in the singles category of the sport.

Fans surely have high expectations from Andy Murray this year as well. Even though he is not enjoying the best of his form, his records prove that he can be quite a dangerous player on his day. Will he be able to make a hattrick of Golds at the Tokyo Olympics 2020?
