When she competed in the juniors, she reached three Grand Slam semifinals in doubles. The French Open, and Wimbledon Championships in 2013 followed by the Australian Open in 2014. When she became a professional tennis player, she made her debut in both singles and doubles on the WTA Tour in 2016.

Having Novak Djokovic in your team is a boon

Nonetheless, this will be her first appearance at the Olympics and it can’t get better than having the World No. 1 player in your team. Having a player like Djokovic in your team helps a player reduce the pressure of competing on such a big stage.

In the past, Novak has won the Bronze Medal at the Olympics in 2008. He lost to Rafael Nadal in the semifinal but went on to beat former American player James Blake. In the last edition, Djokovic lost in the opening round to Juan Martin del Potro.

Well, the Serbian pair have got all the tools to go the distance. We wish them all the best in making their country and its citizens proud.
