PSN Summer Sale 2021 discounts Returnal, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Demon’s Souls

Almost all the current PS5 exclusives are in the PSN summer sale, with some up to a third off their original price.

Although many console wars ultimately come down to price the current one is greatly complicated by the completely different ways that Microsoft and Sony approach the issue, with Xbox offering Game Pass and the PlayStation 5 charging £70 for first party exclusives.

There’s no point trying to get into all the many complications of the situation here but one relief from the problem is the PSN Summer Sale, which has all but the recent Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (and Destruction AllStars) for a sizeable discount.

There’s also a lot of third party games too, over a thousand in fact, including recent games such as Mass Effect Legendary Edition and big sellers like Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and FIFA 21.

The PlayStation 5 titles on sale are as follows, while the full list of first and third party titles can be found in the PlayStation Blog.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure – £42.59 (29% off)Spider-Man: Miles Morales – £37.49 (33% off)Demon’s Souls – £52.49 (25% off)Returnal – £52.49 (25% off)

Given how many third party games are included in the sale you should be able to find something to interest you, although do bear in mind that this is only the first wave and more discounts will be added on August 4.

The sale itself will end at 23.59pm on August 18, so you’ll have plenty of time to make your decision.

If you don’t have a PlayStation 5 console yet then GAME are getting more stock in tomorrow, although they’re now becoming easier to get hold of almost by the week.
