And now, EA has announced that the game will feature the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), along with the women’s golfers. The game also features one of the LPGA’s major championships, The Amundi Evian Championships.

Former LPGA Tour pro details the magnificence of the game

Iona Stephen formerly played on the LPGA and now works for Sky Sports as well as the host of Golfing World, a Golf Channel program. Stephen closely worked with the EA in the development of the game, and shed light on a few stunning details.

“My goal in helping EA is to give women the satisfaction of playing a quality golf game while seeing themselves in a variety of ways that go beyond a handful of female character models,” said Stephen

Stephen assisted EA in implementing authentic aspects of the women’s tour on the new game.

“Who does the female professional golfer have on her team? What does life look like for a female professional tour? What does it look like for a male professional on tour, who’s on their team?”

Iona Stephen informed that there will be certain nuances that will make the game even better. For instance, 2019 Evian Championship winner Jin Young Ko will be a playable character in the upcoming game with incredible detailing.

“We’re going to be announcing a lot more around this game in the coming months,” senior producer Jenny Martin said. “We’re on a fast track to get the game done by the spring [of 2022].

“But the fact that we have the LPGA in the game, and the fact that we’re putting effort behind some of these great tournaments, like the Evian, is really exciting for me personally, as someone who’s really loved to go to LPGA events and followed a lot of the golfers,” she added.
