Tom Parker has shared the latest step in his rehabilitation amid his battle with a brain tumour as he used a muscle stimulation device to strengthen his left leg.

The Wanted star, 32, shared a clip of him using a series of pads attached to his leg to deliver electrical pulses to strengthen the muscles after the mobility of his left leg was affected by the location of the tumour.

As his thigh muscles twitched in the video, Tom told his followers: ‘Sexy, huh? So basically this is called a Compex machine and what it does is stimulate the muscles because obviously this side has got a bit weaker because of where the tumour was.

‘So I have lost a bit of mobility on the left side but this hopefully will get everything stimulated and moving again.’

Tom has kept fans up to date with his progress since being diagnosed with a stage four glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumour, in October.

He and wife Kelsey previously revealed that the tumour had had a ‘significant reduction’ following chemo and radiotherapy.

He wrote alongside a photo of him with wife Kelsey and their daughter Aurelia, two, and son Bodhi, nine months: ‘What a difference a few days make.

‘Currently I’m laid in bed with chemo side effects hitting me in the face hard. These 3 little beauties get me through it and make it all worth it.’
