WATCH: Chris Paul Schools Giannis Antetokounmpo With Classic Step Back Midrange in NBA Finals Game 6

Deja vu of Game 5 as Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns come back from a 13 point first quarter deficit to lead at the half. The Bucks came out swinging in the first quarter as they scored 29. However, it was a completely different story in the second quarter.

Milwaukee managed just 13 points in the entire quarter. On the other hand, Phoenix stepped up their defence big time. Forcing constant turnovers and playing great defence throughout the second quarter. Cameron Payne is the force off the bench scoring 10 quick points in 6 minutes of play.

For the Bucks it has been all Giannis as others kept on missing in the second quarter. Middleton started strong scoring 7 in the first quarter. However, he added just 2 points while also picking up 3 fouls to his name. Jrue Holiday is struggling with just 2 points on 1-11 shooting.

Phoenix Suns got the Chris Paul they desperately needed. He has been really good, choosing his shots wisely and making plays for his team. Ayton has made his presence felt on both ends og the floor as he has 8 points, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

This is a much different Chris Paul from the previous games. CP3 is being aggressive, getting to his spot and killing the Bucks with his midrange game. He has done a great job to score on every defender that has been on him so far. He is not ready to throw in the towel yet and will fight till the end.

However, the ‘Greek Freak’ is not far behind as he has kept Milwaukee close in this game. Giannis has already accumulated 17 points and 3 blocks in 2 quarters of play. Moreover, he has missed just 1 of his 6 free throws until now. He is the only Bucks player who could score well in the second quarter of the game.

Jrue struggling again

The Milwaukee Bucks need Jrue Holiday to get going on the offensive end of the floor. They can’t have Jrue scoring just 2 points while taking 11 shots. In addition, their offence apart from Giannis has been stagnant. The Bucks are shooting just 17% from deep and 35 from the field.

Moreover, the Bucks have turned the ball over 10 times in the ball game already so far. Middleton and Jrue need to contribute more on the offensive end.

Milwaukee will look to wrap up the Finals here as they would not want to go to Phoenix for a Game 7. However, they need other players to step up. Who do you think will win the game? Let us know in the comments below.
