NXT Champion Karrion Kross attacked William Regal on Tuesday night as he sent a warning to Samoa Joe.

The intimidating WWE star, who made a somewhat disappointing debut on Raw earlier this week, fired a warning shot in his ongoing feud with the Samoan Submission Machine as the pair look to be on a collision course.

Joe had called out Kross earlier in the night but he wasn’t in the building at the time, and Regal asked his enforcer to find a peaceful way to settle their issues.

At the end of the night, the former United States Champion – who has thrived in his new role after being released and rehired earlier this year – called out his rival after the main event.

However, Kross appeared on the titan tron instead, and revealed he had laid out the general manager backstage as he insisted he can do whatever he wants on the black and gold brand.

The rest of the show had its moments too, kicking off with a decent tag team match with the wrong result as Bobby Fish and KUSHIDA defeated Diamond Mine’s Roderick Strong and Tyler Rust in an early blow for the new group.

Franky Monet made quick work of Jessi Kamea as Mandy Rose watched on, while and elsewhere Kyle O’Reilly defeated Austin Theory by submission.

Legado del Fantasma clashed with Hit Row as the simmering rivalry continued to heat up, with the two factions brawling as the latter group stood tall.

Elsewhere, Odyssey Jones defeated Andre Chase in the NXT Breakout Tournament, while Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan challenged Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher to a rematch and Imperium claimed MSK have dishonoured the sacred mat.

LA Knight continued to mock Cameron Grimes, whom Drake Maverick tried to help which led to a match.

Maverick actually beat Knight after a mistake with Grimes and the Million Dollar Title, leading to the villain attacking the underdog after the bell, when Knight made his butler punch Maverick in the face, per the terms of his employment.

And in the main event, Raquel Gonzalez defeated Xia Li to retain the NXT Women’s Championship, although things took a nasty turn after a Vader Bomb which left the latter winded and the match ended soon after.

*WWE NXT airs Tuesdays at 1am on BT Sport 1.
