WWE superstar Bayley has revealed she would love to face Serena Deeb in a dream match.
The former SmackDown Women’s Champion – who has sadly been ruled out for nine months after suffering an injury in training – has plenty of people she wants to face in the ring, and the AEW star is one of them.
She exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘I have so much respect and some history with Serena Deeb. I would love, love, love to be able to have a match with her one day.
‘She helped me so much in my early career to get to SHIMMER. That would be so awesome.’
As well as the former NWA Women’s Champion, the Role Model would also like to work with her childhood hero Lita, while there are plenty of talent across NXT and NXT UK who she wants to get in the ring with.
‘Always since a kid, Lita was a dream opponent. In NXT, I’ve always wanted to work with Candice. I’ve only ever been able to team with her,’ she explained.

‘So, I would love to have a match with Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai. Kay Lee Ray from NXT UK, Meiko [Satomura] who’s the new NXT UK Women’s Champion. Even Rhea, having Rhea on Raw is pretty awesome so I would love to have a match with her.’
After nine years in WWE – five of those on Raw or SmackDown – there is still plenty Bayley wants to do, and despite the amount of talent released this year she’s still excited by potential match-ups within the company.

‘There’s a lot of people I wanna be able to have these matches with. There’s only so little time,’ she pointed out.
‘It seems like our roster is a little shorter right now, but there’s still so many girls that could have these dream matches. Hopefully some time down the line!’
There hopefully will be plenty of opportunities in the future once Bayley returns from injury, but this dream bouts may not even be televised as she admitted some of her favourite in-ring moments came when the cameras weren’t rolling.
‘I’ve had some of my favourite matches that nobody will ever see on TV,’ she said. ‘The first one I can think of is our first show out of Florida with NXT, the first time we travelling outside of the state.
‘It was in Columbus, Ohio and I wrestled Charlotte. Ric Flair was out there with us, he managed her. That was our first time out and the crowd was so ready and so insane and so there for everybody.
‘But being out there with Charlotte was so fun, and having Ric there, just him reacting and feeling everything from the crowd was great as well.’
*WWE SmackDown airs Fridays at 1am on BT Sport 1.
