“You Don’t Belong In the Same World as Me” – WWE Champion Bobby Lashley Rejects Goldberg’s Challenge

The return of the WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg to WWE RAW has turned to be a big fuss in the WWE Universe. The former WWE Champion, who made his return, confronted the current WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.

This confrontation undoubtedly teases a match between these two gigantic superstars at the upcoming PPV SummerSlam. A majority of the WWE fans have exhibited their rancor towards WWE, claiming that putting a finished superstar like Goldberg, who is well past his prime, in a WWE title match is an accursed and absurd decision. The WWE Champion Lashley also had an equal say, more like a jab directed at Goldberg to promote their rivalry.

Bobby Lashley takes a dig at Goldberg

After going through an intense battle with Keith Lee, Bobby Lashley did not expect the return of Goldberg on RAW. The current WWE Champion was visibly shell shocked to see the former WCW Champion return. His manager, MVP, then advised Bobby not to indulge in any actions at Goldberg.

The Almighty who left the ring in a fuming state reacted to the return of Goldberg via his Twitter handle. Bobby’s tweet was a calculated jab at Goldberg as he tried to belittle him with his tweet.

You don’t belong in the same world as me, let alone the same ring. Get that close again, @The305MVP won’t be able to hold me back.

Lashley, in his tweet, slammed Goldberg, stating that he is not even qualified to be in the ring with him anymore. He also roasted the former WWE Champion, calling him an Old Man. Bobby wrote- “You don’t belong in the same world as me, let alone the same ring. Get that close again, MVP won’t be able to hold me back. No thanks, old man.” 

Can Goldberg mount a serious challenge to Lashley?

Bobby Lashley’s tweet, which is a part of the plan to drum up interest in his battle with Goldberg, may have some hard truth. Goldberg is no longer the myth that he was decades ago. The former WCW Champion is well past his prime and looks to be struggling whenever he wrestles in the ring.

His match against The Undertaker in Saudi Arabia was an absolute sham. It was terrifying even to watch, as either superstar could have ended with a serious injury. Luckily none of that happened, but the match exposed the vulnerability of Goldberg and established him as a poor performer.

Now that the SummerSlam is around the corner, Fans are curious to know how WWE will book the match. Fans expect a similar match that happened between Drew McIntyre and Goldberg as Drew squashed Goldberg.

The match very much established Drew as a top dog of the company. It’s no secret that Vince McMahon loves Bobby Lashley, and his rumored SummerSlam match with Goldberg is nothing but a cherry on the top for the Almighty’s WWE title reign.
