‘It was awesome’: Anna Faris reveals she secretly married Michael Barrett

Anna Faris has dropped the bombshell that she has secretly wed partner Michael Barrett.
The Mom star revealed that pair have recently eloped and their special day was ‘awesome’ and ‘everything about it just felt right’.
In a recent episode of her podcast Anna Faris is Unqualified, the actress and guest, food writer Gail Simmons, spoke to a caller who felt she was drifting away from her friends since getting into a relationship.
Anna began to offer her some advice, saying: ‘We’ve spent the last year in a place of reflection and a place of prioritisation to some degree, a place of anxiety, a place of assessment…
‘I’m looking around so, my fiance is right…well he’s now my husband. Yes, we eloped.’
As Gail squealed with delight she went on: ‘I’m sorry honey I just blurted that out. I can’t say fiance any more.’
Gail replied: ‘You guys, that’s beautiful!’

‘It was awesome. It feels great. It was at a local courthouse up in Washington state. It was great,’ Anna went on.
The star added that their own families had no idea they had got hitched.
‘We saw my family and it kind of slipped out the same way. My aunt asked me, “You are going to be a stepmom. How are you feeling about that?’ and I said, “Actually I am a stepmom as of like four days ago, but it was great.”
‘Everything about it just felt right.’
Anna and Michael began dating shortly after she separated from ex-husband Chris Pratt in 2017. The couple share son Jack, eight.

She sparked engagement rumours in 2019 when she was spotted wearing a huge diamond ring while out with Michael in Los Angeles.
It is the third marriage for Anna who was married to Ben Indra from 2004 until 2008.
Chris has also remarried, tying the knot with Katherine Schwarzenegger, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger, in California in June 2019. They share seven-month-old daughter Lyla.
