Gemma Collins reveals her chic bob hairdo after she was inspired by Holly Willoughby

GEMMA Collins showed off her new short bob after her dramatic hair transformation – saying she was inspired by Holly Willoughby.

The Diva Forever star, 40, turned away from her usual luscious long locks in favour of a cute bob and showed off the results on Instagram.

Gemma said she was inspired by Holly Willoughby to get the trim as she looked “unreal” on her Instagram.

The star said: “Guys Holly Willoughby made me do this. She didn’t force me but I saw how unreal she looked on her Instagram today and I rung my hairdresser like, get here son. I need the look.”

Then she unveiled her new hair – a beautiful bob – while her hairdresser Joel appeared in the background.

She said: “There it was, in a flash. Hair transformation by Joel. And I’m loving my new look for the summer. I’m going to tuck it behind my ears, I might tong it. I’m just going to embrace this hair.

“I absolutely love, love, love it. But you know what I’m like, in about two weeks I might go back long. No, I’m keeping this for the summer. Hot girl summer right there.”

Later on, Gemma thanked her fans for winning Best Female Personality at the Reality TV Awards last night.

Filming from her bedroom, the star said her “wildest dreams are coming true”.

She said: “Guys I want to say, thank you so much for the award. It means the absolute world to me.

“And I’m having a cheeky night indoors with Ram and we’re celebrating together. I just want to say, this has been an amazing journey for me.

“When I did Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, I didn’t think it could get any better than that. But life’s got… My wildest dreams are coming true.

“Life just seems to keep going in the right direction for me at the minute. I just want to thank you all. You’ve all supported me, you’ve all stuck by me. Without you voting for me, I wouldn’t have won it. And I’m quite emotional because it’s so sweet.”
