Dani Dyer marked dad Danny Dyer’s 44th birthday in style, sharing a sweet snap of the pair on social media.

The Love Island winner is going through a tough time in her personal life, after her boyfriend Sammy Kimmence was recently jailed for three-and-a-half years, for defrauding two pensioners.

Taking to her Instagram story, the 24-year-old blessed us all with a black-and-white photo with the EastEnders actor to commemorate the day.

Beside the adorable picture, she heaped praise on the Mick Carter star for being the best dad, and granddad to her son Santi.

‘Happy birthday to such a special person @officialdannydyer. So grateful to have a dad like you in my life..,’ the mum-of-one said.

‘Thank you for all the laughs and being the most amazing granddad to Santi.

‘Love you millions xx.’

The sweet post comes after Dani’s private life was plunged into chaos this month, when partner Sammy – who she shares son Santi with – was jailed for defrauding elderly men out of more than £34,000..

He took the money from two pensioners between 2016 and 2018, claiming he would invest it by placing bets on horse-racing on their behalf, but instead used the money on his own lifestyle and debts.

The reality star is said to be ‘distraught’ over his actions but has not yet spoken publicly over the news – amid allegations they have split.

An insider close to Dani told Metro.co.uk that she was left ‘absolutely floored’, adding: ‘She knows she has to make massive changes in her life and she is so distraught she needs time to think things through.

‘Sammy completely downplayed the court case every step of the way and led her to believe he hadn’t done anything too serious and he would get a suspended sentence.

‘Now she knows the full horror of the crime. She is broken. She feels desperately sorry for the two men he scammed and whose lives he ruined.’
