Jake Paul and Logan Paul “Are Running for President” in 2032

Jake Paul started his professional boxing career in 2020. Even with no amateur experience, Paul has taken the boxing world by storm. His achievements in a brief span of time are incomparable and most boxing debutants cannot match his market value.

Over the years, Jake Paul has built himself a massive audience on video streaming and social media platforms. His move to pro boxing brought a ton of fresh eyes to the sport.

Paul’s ability to open the sweet science of boxing to new viewers and fans is perhaps the biggest reason behind his explosive growth in boxing.

The 24-year-old has once again made headlines this week. However, this time it’s not about rocking a sleepy” Conor McGregor chain or teasing a mega clash between the Paul and Diaz brothers.

‘The Problem Child’ went on the ‘Overtime’ podcast and announced that both the Paul brothers plan on running for POTUS in 2032.

I’m running for President, but I’m not even 35 yet. My brother and I are running for President in 2032. That’s when we’ll be eligible, said Jake Paul.

When asked if they would compete against each or if they would enter the race as President and running mate, Jake Paul replied, “We’re still figuring it out. I might be President, he might.

“I think we’re gonna flip a coin and see who gets to be the President versus Vice President. He’s more PC [politically correct], and he’s likable, where I’m like the villain.”

This is not the first time the Paul brothers have teased this idea. On the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, Logan Paul shared he might run for office in 2032 but added that he would like to wait until 2050 when he’s a “grown-a** man with lots of intelligence and wisdom”.

Jake Paul fights do huge numbers

Boxing legend Mike Tyson’s achievements can put Paul’s ‘overnight’ success in the sport into perspective; it took Mike Tyson 31 fights over two years to gain mass recognition in 1986 when he became the unified heavyweight champion.

However, people tuned in to watch Mike Tyson fight because of his skills and punching prowess. Unlike ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’, Jake Paul’s promotional antics and viewership are currently the primary drivers of his growth in the sport.

The Ohio native is not just a YouTube star anymore; he is a rapper, an actor, and one of the biggest prizefighters in boxing. So far, his biggest fight has been against retired MMA fighter and wrestling specialist, Ben Askren.

The event reportedly generated 1.5 million pay-per-view sales and racked up $75 million in net revenue. These numbers are far from the norm in even some of the biggest pro boxing matchups.

Is ‘The Paul Effect’ here to stay?

Jake Paul now wants to change his narrative of not opting for tough fights and even wants to challenge Canelo Alvarez down the line. On August 30th, ‘The Problem Child’ will face former five-time UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley.

With Paul facing a fighter who is infamous for his knockout power and combinations inside the octagon, this Cleveland event could be a make-or-break fight for him.

If he bags a win against Tyron ‘The Chosen One’ Woodley, a lot of eyes will be drawn towards the 24-year-old. There is a lot riding on this for Jake Paul as well as Tyron Woodley, who is also looking to grow in boxing.

However, a loss in his early boxing career could be detrimental to the progress he has made so far. With Jake Paul fighting Tyron Woodley in August and Logan Paul possibly fighting Anderson Silva later this year, ‘The Paul Effect’ is currently in its prime.
