This behavior of McGregor came under scrutiny and many believed McGregor need to suffer the consequences of the same. However, it seems like that will not be the case, as during a recent interview UFC‘s Marc Ratner spoke about the same.

He said, “I don’t know if we’re going to have an actual code of conduct meeting, but there’s certainly, with some senior executives including Dana that are very much aware of that, and we certainly, and I certainly don’t condone that kind of talk.”

“There’s no reason for that. Conor was always a very good loser in his own way… and maybe you shouldn’t interview him when he’s on the ground with a broken leg and maybe that comes into play because who knows what he’s going to say, but yeah I think that there have been conversations with Conor.”

What next for Conor McGregor?

While it seems like there is not going to be anything done about McGregor’s remarks post-UFC 264. That begs one question, What next for McGregor? While as of now ‘Notorious’ is medically suspended till 2022, the fighter is training hard and wants to return as soon as possible.

McGregor had expressed his desire to fight Poirier in a 4th fight and would look for that. While there have also been talks of ‘Notorious’ facing someone like Nate Diaz or Tony Ferguson on his return.
