Costa swarmed Yanez with good offense early on in the first round and Yanez was arguably down one round after the first. However, in the second round, Yanez came out a lot stronger. The finishing sequence saw him land a set of beautiful combinations straight through Costa’s guard who was shelling up.

The final punch was a right uppercut right through Costa’s guard that dropped him to the floor. As soon as he hit the floor, Yanez landed an unending barrage of punches that ultimately ended the fight for Randy Costa and gave Yanez yet another stoppage win in the UFC.
