Dominic Cummings ‘shows support’ for Britney Spears and #FreeBritney movement in move nobody saw coming

In a totally unexpected crossover Dominic Cummings appears to have shown his support for Britney Spears amid her conservatorship battle with her father.

Having seemingly followed what is currently happening with the singer, the former chief adviser to Prime Minister Boris Johnson decided to do somethin’ and fired off his thoughts on the news she can hire her own lawyer as her legal action continues.

Apparently revealing himself as a Britney stan, Cummings said on Twitter: ‘Now @britneyspears can hire own lawyers: please Britney team write/tweet to all in Congress, all @POTUS staff, all @GavinNewsom staff, judges’ staff challenging whether they personally support the shocking conservatorship laws. They won’t & the tide will #FreeBritney RETWEET!’

Understandably many were left wondering if he had been hacked as the message was so unexpected, however at the time of writing the tweet is still up suggesting it could be legit. That or he hasn’t spotted it because he’s otherwise engaged (watching Love Island, probs).

On the other hand it would be interesting to know what his favourite Britney track is.

In a legal victory for the 39-year-old Mathew S Rosengart was named as her new counsel in the case.

Rosengart went on to reveal that he is working ‘expeditiously’ towards removing her dad Jamie from the conservatorship.

The Toxic singer is currently battling against the conservatorship she has been under since 2008.

The star is hoping to have all restrictions lifted and to regain control over her personal and financial decisions by having the conservatorship removed after 13 years.

Many wondered if Dominic’s Twitter account had been hacked (Picture: AP)

She had shared a bombshell testimony in court, detailing the ways her life has been restricted by the rule, including not being allowed to be driven in a car by her boyfriend, Sam Asghari.

Britney recently posted an Instagram video of herself dancing with joy after she got to drive herself for the first time in ‘a while’.

She also took aim at the ‘people closest to her’, thought to be aimed at her sister Jamie-Lynn Spears, for not being there when she needed them as she continues to speak out on social media.
