Love Island 2021 star Georgia Townend has opened up about her time in the villa, saying that ‘it would have been so much easier’ if she’d been bisexual.
The 28-year-old marketing executive was dumped from the Island after Hugo Hammond’s dramatic speech picking Chloe Burrows and hitting out at Toby Aromolaran.
Her time on the programme was short-lived and she’s now said coupling up with the girls would have been much easier than with the boys.
Speaking to Laura Whitmore on Love Island: Aftersun, she said: ‘I wish I was bisexual!’
‘It would have been so much easier to couple up with the girls than any of the boys.’
Talking about getting to know the girls, she said: ‘Honestly I just love all of them.’

Georgia added: ‘Faye just “adopted” me the minute I walked through the door which put me at ease almost instantaneously.
‘And then subsequently Lucinda barnacled herself to me and I was like her mum so we were like a three-generational family!’
It comes after Love Island has been criticised in recent months for the lack of diversity and LGBTQ+ Islanders appearing on the show.
There has been a growing call for LGBT inclusion, after ITV’s commissioner Amanda Stavri provoked outrage online earlier this year by saying that including ‘gay Islanders’ in the upcoming series of Love Island would be a ‘logistical difficulty’.
‘Although Islanders don’t have to be 100% straight, the format must sort of give [the] Islanders an equal choice when coupling up,’ she said.

It comes after Georgia shared a heartfelt message with fans about being true to herself as an ‘aberration’ to the typical Love Island stars usually seen on the show.
Sharing the moment on Instagram, Georgia wrote: ‘I entered the villa with honest intentions, I was hopeful that despite being an unorthodox method, there could be a real prospect of meeting someone. Unfortunately, things don’t always pan out the way you’d hoped, but if you learn a lesson it’s always worth the tuition fee.
‘I knew before even applying I was an aberration compared to the atypical islander. I’m s**te at make up, I can’t flirt to save my life, and apparently I have dreadful fashion sense, but despite these obvious shortcomings, I wanted to represent normal girls who struggle to date, aren’t interested in the social equity and had a genuine desire to find someone.’

Georgia continued: ‘I value my integrity above all else, and didn’t want to invest my time where it was unrequited or have to sabotage couples to save my own skin.
‘Whilst that meant I was probably a s**t islander it means I walked away with my dignity and respect in tact.’
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
