While appearing on a recent episode of the Chanel in the City podcast, Caroline admitted Spencer and Heidi’s negative comments about The Hills: New Beginnings are “really hurtful and shocking and weird.”

After stating that she knows Heidi, 34, and Spencer, 37, will hear her thoughts on the topic, Caroline said: “It’s hurtful to all the producers. You’re literally going around saying, the show is terrible.

“And by the way, the ratings are really good. They’re really high. And they’re growing every single week.”

The MTV star continued: “Heidi and Spencer are going around saying it’s the worst show and we need our own spin off. And we need to be on a show just by ourselves. And, you know, everybody sucks.”

After calling her co-stars “mean,” she added: “People put their lives at risk to film during a pandemic.

“Forget us who are all getting nice paychecks. And this and that. How about the entire production team? How about the producers that worked their butts off for you ungrateful a**holes.”

Noting how the couple’s comments will affect the show’s crew, Caroline said: “You’re tearing them apart. You’re tearing their businesses apart their livelihoods apart? It’s ungrateful. It’s disgusting.”

CAROLINE CALLS OUT THEIR SPENDING HABITS

Caroline then slammed the pair for their lack of financial stability, which is currently being covered on the show.

She said: “Lucky for me it’s a new day, it’s not 2000. And whenever back in the day, when it used to be kind of cool to be an a**hole and spend all your money.

“They’re literally complaining on the episode right now that they’re going broke because they’re spending $7,000 a month on food and buying $60 burritos. And they think that’s funny during a pandemic, when people are starving.”

Caroline wrapped up the topic by stating: “They have no jobs and nothing and then they go out and tear the show apart. It’s disgusting.

“I’m embarrassed to be associated with that.”

While Caroline is new to The Hills, Spencer and Heidi starred on the original series that ran from 2006-2010.

SPENCER SLAMS CAST AS ‘IDIOTS’

Spencer hasn’t been shy about slamming the show, as he recently said on the Hollywood Raw podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn that his co-stars are “idiots.”

After the podcast’s host said the show is “so bad,” Spencer said it’s “because the cast.

In addition to Spencer, Heidi and Caroline, The Hills: New Beginnings also stars Brody Jenner, Audrina Partridge, Kaitlynn Carter, Justin Bobby Brescia, Frankie Delgado, Brandon Thomas Lee, Jason Wahler and Ashley Wahler.

Spencer said: “The cast came back from COVID with these versions of themselves they wanted to Instagram post. They thought the cameras were there to promote. The cameras are there to follow their real lives, so it’s not supposed to — this isn’t a filter, this isn’t how you want to look, what you want out there. These aren’t skits you’re performing, we’re not acting.”

Earlier this month, Spencer slammed his co-stars as “the worst people ever” on Twitter.

Spencer and Heidi tied the knot in 2008.

The couple share three-year-old son Gunner, while Heidi has expressed her interest in having more children on the show.
