They’re the face of Saturday night telly, and now it’s been reported that Ant and Dec are set to launch a brand new game show.

The programme, titled Fortune Favours the Brave, will see the pair hand out life-changing sums of money to contestants.

According to The Sun, Ant and Dec will develop the production company Mitre Television.

A TV insider said: ‘Ant, Dec and the team behind this new show are keeping all the details under wraps for now.

‘But it promises to be another sure-fire hit for the lads. Whether they host it or not remains to be seen. But either way, it’s very much the lads’ baby and they’ll put their all into making it a success.’

They added: ‘Like all their other projects, it won’t just be a rehash of other formats. It promises to have their own unique twist and hallmark touches.’

The search for contestants is underway and producers are searching for ‘confident, dynamic and competitive teams of two with a mix of strengths and personalities’.

Production is expected to get underway this autumn, with the show expected to arrive in 2022.

Mitre also currently make the shows Our DNA Journey and In For A Penny hosted by Stephen Mulhern.

Ant and Dec have hosted both Saturday Night Takeaway and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! since 2002, and have become two of the biggest names in the world of TV presenting in that time.

They’ve got competition though, after The Void hosts Fleur East and Ashley Banjo recently revealed that they hope to be the new Ant and Dec.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will be making an epic return to the Australian jungle.

A source close to the show said signs are ‘pointing towards a return’ to the reality TV show’s original location.
