“Let’s Get Stronger Together”: Venus Williams Sets Up a Special Training Session for Fans

In the women’s game, Venus Williams has been a great asset. Although she doesn’t win before like she used to, her presence on Tour itself is a motivation. She has influenced a number of youngsters that are now well-established players on the women’s Tour.

Recently, Venus Williams revealed on social media that she will be conducting fitness sessions. It is expected to be a live training session online. She will be engaging with fans online and help them gain the importance of being physically fit along with certain drills and exercises.

She put up a post with a caption, “Let’s get stronger together friends. Join me tomorrow for my first session back on LIVE in a while… kicking off Wellness with Venus, let’s do this. #CoachVenus.”

Venus Williams began fitness sessions last year

Williams first started this wonderful initiative last year during the pandemic. It was a great initiative as during the lockdown people from all over the world seemed to be losing their motivation and desire to do things. Being able to physically exert oneself provided a sense of upliftment to the mind.

Coming onto tennis, Williams began her season in Melbourne, competing at the Australian Open. Unfortunately, her journey did not last long as she lost in the second round. After that, she competed in Miami but ended her stint after losing in the opening round.

Her performances kept on deteriorating as she crashed out of the next four events in the opening round. At the Wimbledon Championships, she lost in the second round to Ons Jabeur. She was also seen competing in mixed doubles. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Nick Kyrgios, her partner had to pull out as he suffered from an injury.

We hope to see the five-time Wimbledon champion compete again and get back to winning ways. It will be interesting to see how she performs during the rest of the season.
