Rosanna Arquette and Andy Cohen lead support for Simone Biles as she pulls out of Olympic women’s gymnastics team final

Rosanna Arquette has led the celebrities sending messages of support to Simone Biles after she withdrew from the women’s artistic gymnastics final at the Toyko 2020 Olympics.
Tuesday morning saw the most successful US gymnast of all time pull out moments after posting the worst vault score of her career.
The 24-year-old also pulled out of the uneven bars, the second apparatus team USA was attempting, with reserve Jordan Chiles stepping up.
Taking to Twitter to react to the news, actress Rosanna Arquette stated: ‘Simone Biles is still the most amazing athlete ever.’
TV host Andy Cohen tweeted: ‘We love you @Simone_Biles !!! [American flag emoji]’.
‘Simone Biles is out of the women’s Olympic gymnastics team final in Tokyo *AND* Naomi Osaka knocked out in round 3. Noooooo!!’, former NFL star Emmanuel Acho wrote.
Speaking on the Today show, three-time gold medalist Aly Raisman also voiced her shock about the news about her former teammate.
She stated: ‘I feel sick to my stomach; it’s horrible. I’m obviously praying that she’ll be able to compete in the all-around final.’
When Simone pulled out American commentator Hoda Kotb told NBC: ‘Simone explained to her team-mates that she was out of the competition.’
Retired American gymnast MyKayla Skinner added: ‘My heart broke for her. I can’t imagine what she’s going through right now. I’m not sure if she’s hurt something recently.’

There will now be a nervous wait over her condition, with Biles set to compete in the women’s all-around, the vault and uneven bars, floor exercise and balance beam events over the next week.
According to NBC, a Team USA coach said her exit ‘is not injury related’ and instead is suffering from a ‘mental issue’.

USA Gymnastics said: ‘Simone has withdrawn from the team final competition due to a medical issue.
‘She will be assessed daily to determine medical clearance for future competitions.’
