Bob Odenkirk’s Better Call Saul co-stars send ‘huge love’ as he’s rushed to hospital

Celebrities have been rallying around Bob Odenkirk after news broke that he collapsed on the set of Better Call Saul.

It was reported in the early hours of Wednesday morning that the 58-year-old actor had been shooting in New Mexico when the incident happened, with crew members calling an ambulance.

It’s been claimed Bob was rushed to hospital where is still receiving medical care.

Michael McKean, who played the late Chuck McGill in the AMC series, wrote: ‘Sending huge love to our @mrbobodenkirk. You got this, brother.’

Josh Fadem, who portrayed University of New Mexico film student Joey Dixon, retweeted a message from Arrested Development’s David Cross, which read: ‘I will share what I know when I can but Bob is one of the strongest people I know both physically and spiritually. He WILL get through this.’

Comedian Tim Heidecker penned: ‘Let’s all please keep our Godfather @mrbobodenkirk in our thoughts tonight as it appears he’s in the hospital! Love you bob!’

Sex And The City star Willie Garson added: ‘Thoughts of love to @mrbobodenkirk.’

Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander wrote: ‘I barely know @mrbobodenkirk but the person I’ve met and the artist I’ve come to admire is getting my prayers tonight. To his family and friends, my family’s best wishes.’

Bob stars as lawyer Saul Goodman in Better Call Saul, with the wildly popular Breaking Bad spin-off premiering in 2015.

The sixth and final season of the show, which is due to premiere in 2022, is currently being filmed.

It is due to consist of 13 episodes and it’s not clear how much time there is left on production.

Speaking of the upcoming season, creator Peter Gould previously teased: ‘I think by the time you finish watching Better Call Saul, you’re going to see Breaking Bad in a very different light.’
