BREAKING: Heavyweight Knockout Artist Tai Tuivasa Takes on Walt Harris at UFC 267 on Fight Island
The UFC heads back to fight Island in the month of October. Previously whenever the promotion has flown over to the other side of the world, they have ensured that the fight cards they bring are stacked with interesting fights. This time around, it’s no different. A light heavyweight fight between Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira will headline UFC 267. Recent reports suggest that the UFC has added a heavyweight fight between Walt Harris and Tai Tuivasa to the card.
The event is set to take place on October 30th. Preliminary reports suggest the event will not be based on the traditional PPV model, rather it will be broadcasted for free for viewers in America. The fight card also features the likes of Amanda Ribas, Khamzat Chimaev among others. Who will be aiming to put on a show for the fans.
Tai Tuivasa vs Walt Harris will be a cracker of a fight
‘The Big Ticket’ is currently ranked 12th in the UFC’s heavyweight division. Recent results have not been going his way as he is winless in his last three outings. Harris is on a three-fight skid and has been stopped in all three of his recent losses by the likes of Alistair Overeem, Alexander Volkov, and Marcin Tybura. Going down this path might be dangerous for his career in the UFC. Therefore, it is imperative that ‘The Big Ticket’ secures a win this time out against Tuivasa.
‘Bam Bam’ on the other hand, was close to being cut from the UFC after going on a three-fight skid between December 2018 and October 2019. Going into his fight against Struve, he admitted that he was fighting for his career in the UFC. After stopping Struve in round one, Tuivasa went on to win his next two fights as well.
He is currently on a three-fight win streak and all three fights have come via stoppages all in the very first round. Tuivasa will be aiming to keep the good run of form going and extend his win streak to 4-0 in order to get a ranking among the UFC’s elite heavyweights.
